Telecor TMS Media Source

The TMS Media Source provides three sources for playing audio material, all combined into a single 19” rack unit. The TMS comprises a CD Player, a Media Player with USB and SD/MMC memory card inputs and an AM/FM Tuner. MP3 files can be played from the CD player, USB memory sticks, or SD/MMC memory cards. The CD player is also capable of playing regular audio CDs.

A front panel LCD display shows the current operating status, such as: the radio station that the tuner is set to, which audio track is playing, or which functions are enabled. The unit has a front panel volume control that sets the audio level of the variable audio output on the rear panel. An equalizer setting allows switching between 4 preset equalizer curves: flat, classic, pop, or rock. Additional front panel controls allow for the play, pause, stop, skip to next track, return to previous track of CDs or file of USBs and SD/MMCs. Whenever a track is paused, the current position (track number and time) is shown on the display.

In tuner mode, front panel controls allow for the selection of the tuner band and frequency. Six memory buttons allow for the presetting of signal frequencies. An FM antenna connection is provided on the rear panel to connect an external outdoor antenna or from cable distribution.

The TMS has several line level outputs. A variable output allows the audio level to be adjusted from the front panel volume control for the either the CD, Media player and tuner audio. A second pair of outputs provide separate fixed output for the CD/Media player and another for the tuner. The unit can be powered from a 110-240 VAC/50-60Hz source. It can also be powered from a 24VDC external supply.
