Description
Telecor STB-11 Ceiling Speaker w/Transformer & Baffle
The Telecor STB-11 is a cost-effective 8″ speaker/transformer/baffle assembly which has a wide frequency response for general purpose voice and music reproduction.
The assembly consists of an 8″ cone loudspeaker, equipped with a dual 25/70 volt line-matching transformer, preassembled onto a round baffle. The transformer features color-coded primary taps at ¼, ½, 1, 2, and 4 watts. Secondary leads are soldered to the speaker terminals. The baffle is finished in a mar-resistant, white, epoxy coating.
The STB-11 is designed to be installed into suspended ceilings, in conjunction with a T8 support bridge. The support bridge prevents ceiling tile sag by distributing the weight of the speaker assembly to the overhead T-bar support members. The speaker assembly is screw-mounted onto the support bridge.
In applications where a protective enclosure is required, a model H8 enclosure can be fastened to the support bridge prior to installation of the speaker assembly into the ceiling.
