Description

Sapling SMA 3000 Master Clock

The Sapling SMA 3000 Series is a microprocessor-based, programmable master clock with an impressive feature set and a large list of optional features to customize the clock for your needs.

The SMA 3000 provides field enabled/disabled daylight savings time (when used as a primary master clock). This programmable master clock is capable of storing (in a non–volatile memory) and controlling up to 800 events (with optional zones), each set with precise second resolution. Special programs can be readily programmed for up to 255 different schedules and holidays.

The SMA 3000 includes a RJ45 input for interfacing with a computer and programming the clock through an optional web interface. The master clock is also capable of interfacing with other systems, such as school intercoms. The SMA 3000 can control two (2) different clock systems simultaneously.

In addition, the RS485 input and output can control Sapling RS485 analog and digital clocks. The SMA 3000 master clock has the capabilities to receive GPS time (optional) or time from a SNTP server. As an option, the clock can also function as an SNTP server. The master clock includes a ten (10) year battery backup for timekeeping.

Want to go wireless?  The SMA 3000 also has the capability of acting as a wireless transmitter (optional) to the Sapling Wireless clock systems. The transmitter utilizes 915–928 MHz frequency–hopping technology.
