Description

Sapling SMA 2000 Master Clock

The Sapling SMA 2000 master clock utilizes advanced microprocessor-based technology. Functions are programmable via two push switches in conjunction with a six digit LED display. The SMA2000 features automatic daylight savings time (when used as a primary master clock), which can be disabled if necessary.

This programmable master clock is capable of controlling two (2) different clock systems simultaneously. It also has the ability to control other systems such as school intercom. Programming data is stored in non–volatile memory.

The SMA 2000 includes an RJ45 input for interfacing with a computer and programming the clock through an optional web interface. In addition, the RS485 output can control Sapling RS485 analog and digital clocks.

The master clock can receive GPS time (optional) or time from a SNTP server. As an option, the clock can also act as a SNTP server. The SMA 2000 includes a ten year battery backup for timekeeping.

The SMA 2000 can function as a wireless transmitter (optional) to the Sapling Wireless clock systems. The transmitter utilizes 915–928 MHz frequency–hopping technology.
