Description

Cornell Series 4100 Rescue Assistance Systems

Cornell Rescue Assistance Systems are emergency alert and evacuation systems designed to enable persons with disabilities to summon evacuation assistance in multi-story commercial buildings and public accommodations.

The Series 4100 consists of zone or floor call stations (available in 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, or 24 zone sets) and a central annunciator station which shows the status of each zone. The system is designed to accommodate an unlimited number of zone stations.

To summon assistance, the user presses a button on the call station. A loud, clear tone is emitted and the zone indicator lights at the central station. When the call is acknowledged at the central station, a light and sound signal at the call station notifies the caller that the request for assistance has been heard.  In the event that building power lines are faulted, a yellow indicator light and intermittent tone notifies the central station. Once the emergency is resolved, the call stations are reset from the central station simply by pressing the acknowledge button a second time.

The call stations and the central station are constructed of stainless steel and anodized aluminum with permanently silk-screened labels and designations.

  • POWER: Uses standard building wiring and power. Transformer and battery backup power supply are also available.
  • OPTIONS: A full range of finishes and materials to suit any decor are available at extra cost.
  • DIMENSIONS (HxW):  The master panel for the 4100 Series ranges from 4.5 x 10 inches to 12.5 inches depending upon the number of zones monitored.
