Inspection & Testing Services
NFPA code requires yearly testing & inspection of your fire alarm system by a qualified agency, and some municipalities go a step further with semi-annual or even quarterly requirements. ITR Systems employs dedicated fire alarm inspection specialists who thoroughly inspect and test conventional and addressable fire alarm systems. We inspect and test all fire alarm systems, regardless of manufacturer. Our inspections include every device, from the fire alarm control panel, auxiliary NAC panels, initiating and indicating devices, to the city tie connection, back-up batteries, and any auxiliary functions such as elevator recall and fan shutdown.
Once our inspection & testing is complete, ITR provides a comprehensive fire alarm inspection report which lists the name and location of each device, along with the findings of our inspectors. These reports are furnished to the customer as well as the local AHJ, as required by the local municipality.
If any problems are found during testing, ITR will follow up with the customer and provide a written quote to repair the deficiencies and ensure proper functionality of the system.
