Description
Quam C5/BU/CK1 Series Clock/Speaker Combination Unit
The Quam C5/BU/CK1 is an American-Made clock/speaker combination baffle which includes a factory-installed 8” loudspeaker with 25/70.7V transformer. The baffle accepts a 10” or 12” analog clock (not included).
The C5/BU/CK1 Series was designed to be smaller than most clock/speaker combination units on the market, which translates to less wall-space required and a reduced-cost to the end-user. The baffle is constructed of steel with a white baked epoxy hybrid finish.
The included speaker meets the needs of a broad range of paging or commercial background music reproduction systems. A hard fiber “whizzer” cone provides extended high-frequency response with fine clarity, while the molded fiber moisture-resistant main cone provides excellent mid and low range frequency response.
The C5/BU/CK1 Series is designed to be used with the Quam ES8-CK flush-mount back box or the SE9W surface-mount back box for installation on both new and existing walls. The assembly can be installed with the loudspeaker oriented up, down, left or right of the clock display.
Quam ES8-CK Flush-Mount Back Box for the C5/BU/CK1
The Quam ES8-CK is a flush-mount box for the Quam C5/BU/CK1 clock baffle. The back box is constructed of steel with a white baked epoxy hybrid finish. The ES8-CK is designed for flush installation in an indoor environment, in either horizontal or vertical alignment.
Quam SE9W Surface-Mount Back Box for the C5/BU/CK1
The Quam SE9W is a surface-mount box for the Quam C5/BU/CK1 clock baffle. The back box is constructed of steel with a white baked epoxy hybrid finish. The SE9W is designed for surface installation in an indoor environment, in either horizontal or vertical alignment.
