Telecor ICS-2 Series Intercom Stations

The Telecor ICS-2 Series Security Intercom Stations are designed to accommodate hostile institutional environments where rugged, tamper-proof devices are required. These units can be used with all Telecor communication systems, or other 25v intercom systems which use a contact-closure to initiate a call-in.

The faceplate is fabricated from 11 gauge stainless steel with a brushed, mar-resistant finish. The speaker assembly is mounted internally to the faceplate by a set of welded studs, and protected from access by any foreign objects by a metal barrier. The speaker cone is fabricated from Mylar, making it impervious to damage by liquids.

The ICS-2A version is identical to the ICS-2, with the addition of a call switch assembly used to initiate calls to the Control Console. The call switch assembly is connected to the face plate by a set of welded studs. A rugged metal actuator activates a momentary contact switch whose movement is limited by a mechanical stop in order to prevent damage to the switch mechanism.

The ICS-2M is similar to the ICS-2A, but with a large 1-1/2″ mushroom style actuator in place of the standard 1/2″ flush mounted actuator used with the ICS-2A. Both are machined from solid metal, maximizing strength and durability.

The ICS-2 series of security intercom stations mount onto standard two-gang electrical boxes. Tamper-proof hardware is provided for mounting purposes.
